What you are about to read is from my heart, and hopefully to yours. I have always considered the success of the AWCF to be based upon the “Team” working together at the direction of the Holy Ghost. I feel that more today than ever before!

We must be diligent in the “work” of God. God has called us according to His “purpose.” He has placed us together to do His “will.” It will be work, sometimes “hard” work; but the rewards will make it all so worthwhile.

Surely, we know by now that we are living during the time that Bible Prophecy calls “the last days.” These are the “perilous” times the prophets warned of; “when men’s hearts would fail them for fear!”

Armies are compassed about Jerusalem! Boundaries are being redrawn in Europe, and politics are changing there preparing for the emergence of a “new” World Order, that will ultimately be dominated by the “Beast and the False Prophet.” Even so, our world which is more than willing to be deceived, continues to talk of “Peace and Safety.” The Bible says, “When they say peace and safety, then cometh sudden destruction!”

The warnings of the end-time are everywhere: AIDS, Satanism, wars and rumors of wars, delusions of peace and safety, earthquakes and plagues; the Holy Ghost is saying, “Prepare to meet thy God.”

The Apostle Paul challenged the church: “But ye, brethren are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.” (I Thess. 5:4)

Knowing the times, we are to be busy doing the Father’s business, while there is still time to work! “The night cometh when no man can work.” (John 9:4)

The Lord has destined that a chosen people shall rise up in the last days and be on the cutting edge of a Great Revival: “And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh.” (Acts 2:17)

The Holy Ghost baptized Church will prevail: “...upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”(Matthew 16:18)

On the Day of Pentecost, when the promised Holy Ghost fell upon those who had obediently assembled; “...they were all in one accord and in one place.” (Acts 2:1)

It is time for us to grasp the lateness of the hour; the lostness of humankind; and the Promise of God!

Our world, our unsaved friends and loved ones are facing sorrow, death, judgment, and eternity without God. We, who are His witnesses must do all that we can, now! If not now...when? If not us...who? If not here...where? If not at all...?

The time is upon us to trust God and give His work our best effort. I pray that we all flow into the Spirit where we are truly in one mind and one accord. Please join me in intercessory prayer that God’s people become spiritually minded; and that we all realize that everything else is “sinking sand and perishing dreams.”

Even in the world among sinners there is a truth that endures. When people work together and set their minds to a cause, there is a force released that inevitably brings about results. At the tower of Babel this was about to happen and the Lord had to confound their speech and scatter the people, lest they accomplish what they set forth to do which was not His will.

The same principle holds true for those who work together to accomplish God’s command and purpose. We are not trying to build a monument to ourselves, destined to be stopped by the Lord as they were in Genesis 11. Rather, we are setting forth to do our part in building the Kingdom of God, which is His will. The rule works. Those who are out of the will of God, He has to stop! Those who are in the will of God, He blesses!

The law of success through unity and works is as valid as the law of gravity!

And the Lord said, “Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” (Genesis 11:6)

Think of it: “Nothing will be restrained from them which they have imagined to do.” God has great plans for His end-time Church, that will take the time to get it all together! God has no other plan to reach the world! Only the Gospel, witnessed by true believers, carried like the sacred ark upon the shoulders of the Church, is the hope of all people!

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth...”(Romans 1:16)

The Church must succeed! God has entrusted us with a Holy Mission. Jesus said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature.” (Mark 16:15)

I pray that a spark can be ignited within our churches that will in turn set us ablaze with Holy Ghost zeal!

David, the one called, “The man after God’s own heart,” was burdened for the success of the House of God. It was he who first said: “For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up...”(Psalm 69:9). Almost a thousand years later, after Jesus had physically chased the money changers out of the Temple (those were changing the purpose of the Holy Mission of the House of God;) “... his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.” (John 2:17)

How many of us can actually and honestly say; “The zeal of thine house, the Mission of the Church, has eaten me up?” If we are truly sons and daughters of God, washed in the blood of Jesus and really where we ought to be with God; it cannot be otherwise.

If we believe this world is filled with sin and destined for Judgment, how can we set our affections upon that which will perish, and ignore that which is eternal?

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.”

(I John 2:15-17)

Let’s face it, “so-called” saints who are not faithful to the things of God love the world more! It is that simple.

One of the missionaries who was massacred in the 1950’s, while taking the Gospel to the uncivilized Indians living in the jungle along the Amazon River, wrote shortly before his death: “He is no fool who trades that which he cannot keep, for that which he can not lose.”

Just think of it: “He that doeth the will of God, abideth forever.” We are so blessed to have an opportunity to do the will of God. Because there are faithful believers, who do the will of the Father, the Gospel reaches humankind, and the power of God changes people! It only makes sense to turn away from that which is temporary and emphasize that which is eternal. Salvation is forever.

Too many call upon God when they are in need, but have no commitment to do His will! The world is going to hell, and most Christians are doing nothing to make a difference.

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” (John 9:4)

My prayer night and day is that God will raise up men and women in our churches who will say, “I must.”

If any say that they are “Born Again,” and are fruitless, it is because they have left their first love.

In the Book of Revelation, Jesus warned of a time in the last days, when believers would falter and fail. In the second chapter, He first compliments and then rebukes: “And I know thy works, and thy labor..., and for my name’s sake hast labored, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless, I have some what against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” (Revelation 2: 2-5)

The above is a sobering message. It is possible for people who have lived for the Lord and know the power in His name, to fall! How? They have left their first love.

This is the reason that across America, churches are empty; towns and countrysides are full of back-sliders; and much of that which remains is lukewarm!

You and I both know those who have once testified of the saving power of the blood of Jesus, who are now backslid. We all know of those who once worked for the Lord, who are a “million miles” from God. The answer is found in the warning of Jesus Christ; “...they left their first love,” and He removed the candle stick from their lives!

If you ever battle those unholy feelings when the “world” begins to call you: when desires and things you once laid down look good again. Repent! If ever you begin to reason in your heart; “I want to work for God someday, but I have to do these things first, and I’ll get around to God’s work later. Repent! That’s what Jesus said to do: Repent!”

I’ve seen too many people just going through the motions of living for God. I know of too many churches, who are left with just a form of religion. With everything within me I am crying out to whomever will hear; “Repent!”

I pray that Apostolic believers everywhere will turn away from “lukewarmness, prayerlessness, faithlessness,” and all those things which God calls wicked ways, and will seek “His face.” He has promised to hear us and heal our land.

Remember, when you were first saved, how the love of God abounded in your heart? Pray that you never lose that “first” love. The love for Jesus, the Bible, the Church, the moving of the Holy Spirit. Remember, how precious the anointing was at first? Well, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

We can no longer, with regards to Revival, afford to say “next week, next year, soon.” We must have a Move of God’s Spirit...Now! He has given us the keys. We know His Instructions and His Promises. Furthermore, He has empowered us through the Holy Ghost. There is no reason to fail, other than disbelief and disobedience !

A few months ago while praying, I was extremely burdened. I have seen the devotion of believers overseas, and the great Outpouring from Heaven that they are receiving. I have been provoked to accept nothing less here. God does not change! That day in my prayer, I desperately travailed before the Lord for a great move of His Spirit. He spoke to my heart that He desired more than I could ever imagine, to: “Pour His Spirit out upon us; but, Revival must be His way!” I that I say, “Yes Lord.”

The Wal-Mart chain of stores which has become number one in their field has the motto: “Our people make the difference.” Wal-Mart recognizes the importance of people doing their jobs right.

When we have paid the price, and got it all together, Revival will come! It will then be said, and correctly so: “Our people made the difference. God has been ready for a long while; now it is up to us. Let’s get started!

“Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” (Matthew 6:19-21)
