IGNITE: Ablaze for Christ

CALOOCAN, PHILIPPINES — September 20, 2025

The fire of the Holy Ghost descended upon Household of Faith Apostolic Fellowship Church in Caloocan, Philippines as youth from across the region gathered for the AWCF Philippines Youth Conference 2025, themed “IGNITE: Ablaze for Christ.”

This gathering marked a divine moment of awakening, consecration, and empowerment. The Spirit moved in power, setting hearts ablaze through a renewed call to holiness, unity, and boldness in truth. The fire of God touched not just the emotions, but the deep places of purpose and calling. Truly, our God is “a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:29).

A Word in Season

The conference speaker, Bro. John Axl Gonzales of the Lord Jesus Christ Church International Apostolic, delivered a Spirit-led word that stirred hearts and opened eyes to the reality of JESUS Christ, the true God and eternal life (1 John 5:20). The message broke chains, brought clarity, and gave direction to a generation yearning for something real. Youth were called to rise in faith, live with intention, and walk in the light of the Word.

“Is not My Word like fire, declares the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” – Jeremiah 23:29

Fellowship, Worship & Unity

The conference was a vibrant expression of the AWCF's mission: unity among Apostolic believers. Worship was passionate, prayer was fervent, and the altar was filled with surrender and supernatural encounter. Ministries and churches came together as one Body, revealing the strength of covenant community built on Apostolic truth.

Anointed Leadership in the Philippines

We give honor to whom honor is due (Romans 13:7) so we extend heartfelt congratulations and thanks to the AWCF Philippines leadership and pastoral team for organizing and stewarding this powerful event with excellence, vision, and spiritual integrity. From planning to execution, their labor was done as unto the Lord, and the fruit was evident.

This was one of the few, if not the only ticketed AWCF event in the Philippines, and yet, the response was overwhelming. Every attendee made an intentional investment to be part of this move of God. And in return, the Lord filled the house not just with people, but with eager worshippers, passionate youth, and a manifest presence of His glory. The sanctuary was full, the altars were filled, and hearts were set ablaze for Christ.

This is a testimony of faith, commitment, and unity among our Filipino brethren, and a model for future gatherings across the region.

Reflections Going Forward

The charge has been given. Youth were equipped to carry the flame into every area of their lives: preaching, leading, and living the Gospel in word and in power. The fire kindled at this conference is meant to continue growing, refining, and reaching others with the light of Christ.

This gathering is part of a rising move of God in the Philippines and beyond. The next generation is filled, ready, and walking forward in the Apostolic mandate.
